First order knowledge claims: Have the origin of the Areas of Knowledge thus having some sort of method to be proven. An example of this would be "Hydrogen is the lightest chemical element." This can be proven through the methods of chemistry permits the view of a visible model of how the element looks like.
Second order knowledge claims: These tend to focs more on the general of the Areas of Knowledge instead of the concept itself. In other words, if the hydrogen example were used again, the claim would focus more on the realibilty of the methods in the science rather than the hydrogen itself.
